Mobility Online Learning Agreement
The apprenticeship agreement is the agreement between the home university, the host university and the student on the choice and recognition of the courses. The apprenticeship agreement is a key document for Erasmus mobility. From the Erasmus programme 2021-2027, e-learning agreements become the norm. Exchange students can find and display their online learning agreement on their UACloud virtual campus, but they can only fill out and modify it at certain times: it is also possible to adapt the OLA during the mobility phase if your home university requires it. Connect to the OLA system and complete the new learning agreement with changes. For the mobility of students for studies, the apprenticeship agreement should define the group of educational components that will be replaced at the end of their studies abroad. See the guidelines below. In 2015, ESN joined the European Foundation for Higher Education (EUF) initiative, the Online Learning Agreement, which would develop a tool for students and universities that could be used online for the creation and signing of a learning agreement. In May 2017, the OLA was created to demonstrate the concept of experimentation and adoption of higher education institutions. The EUF has launched another project, OLA, which has added new features to the platform, such as apprenticeship agreements for internships and measuring user satisfaction. The “After Mobility” Apprenticeship Agreement lists exams taken at the partner university and the expulsion of these exams from paderborn University. The “after-mobility” learning agreement is not a form that you can fill out, but consists of the following two documents: the objective of the project is to allow students to prepare their learning agreements under an online system that will allow them to get in touch with the detachment coordinators and the higher education institutions that accept them to finalize the document.
Approve and sign online. This process therefore transfers a paper workflow, which depends on timely mailings for signature purposes, into an online system that allows students to save a lot of time in preparing for their studies abroad and to create an increased degree of flexibility and efficiency in revising the learning agreement. The online software will also allow higher education institutions to integrate learning agreement management processes to improve the efficiency of the licensing and management process, giving staff time to work on other activities in international relations or improve the quality of credit mobility. The “Before Mobility” Apprenticeship Contract lists your (provisional) selection of programs at the partner university (Table A) and the recognition and transfer of these courses to paderborn University (Table B). The document must be completed and signed by all parties involved before your exchange begins and is then uploaded to Mobility Online. We advise you to follow these steps: it is also possible to adapt the OLA during the mobility phase.
